The busy season is upon us, and we're ready! With Chamber barrels being planted in the next couple of weeks (once the threat of snow is behind us, fingers crossed), streets swept and shelves stocked, bring on the travellers. Nanton is a popular destination for day-trippers and long-distance visitors alike, as well as locals who have discovered our unique shops, many services and amenities and friendly service. The Town of Nanton Visitor Information Centre is opening shortly, and welcomes your business brochures and cards to make sure those stopping in to see what we have to offer can find you!
The next quarterly Chamber meeting is taking place Wednesday, June 15, 6:30 pm at Stuthornes on Main, 2122 20 St (formerly Mainstreet Cafe). This meeting will be start with a wine & cheese meet & greet, and include a presentation from Rick Milliken of The Growth Coach Foothills (check him out at www.thegrowthcoachfoothills.ca). Rick will be talking to us about conducting a business check-up, ways to grow your business, finding (and keeping) your best customers, and how to begin to change things when that's what's required. Please feel free to bring fellow business owners or employees along for this meeting. The more people who have the recipe for business success, the better Nanton becomes.
