The summer has begun, and with it the visitors are arriving. MacEwan School Visitor Information Centre is open daily through Labour Day, and then weekends until Thanksgiving. Please take your business cards, coupons or brochures there to make sure tourists and newcomers to town know that you exist and where to find you.
Nanton has been selected as a Feature Celebration Site for Alberta Culture Days 2014. The weekend of September 26-28 will see a whole town-ful of free, family-friendly activities celebrating Nanton’s authentic Alberta culture, from Hutterite Colony tours and rodeo event demos to buskers, musical events, markets and First Nations dancers. Stay tuned for more information as details are confirmed.
The next Chamber of Commerce meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, 6:30pm at FCSS/NQLF meeting room (log building south of Bomber Command Museum, enter through the door to the right of them main double doors).
